I arrived in Geneva at 2:30 this afternoon. The weather was perfect, sunny and very warm. I went for a nice walk along the Lake Geneva. I took a picture of the famous Jet d'Eau, which is a large fountain in Geneva and one of the city's most famous landmarks. It is actually situated at the point where Lake Geneva empties into the Rhone River. I took a few more pictures which I will post when I return. For now, I wanted to make this post, which is memorable for me, as this is my last business trip to Geneva before I retire. I will always have fond memories of this beautiful city. Time to move on, and retire in Huntsville with Russell, my husband of almost 30 years and the love of my life. He will become more prominent in my future posts. Good bye from Geneva, I return home on Tuesday.

Off to Geneva

We finally got our new wheels yesterday, fit for Huntsville! Very nice and comfortable and not too 'redneck'.

The home concept is emerging...
This was a good week. We settled on the dimensions of the house, 72x38, and most of the outside/inside concept. The house will have perfect southern exposure. The sun will rise in our bedroom and set in the Muskoka room. Off to Palm Springs on Sunday for business, mixed with a little pleasure. When we're back, we will finalize the closing of our land and the drawings of our home. Forgot to mention that we will have a few special flourishes carved into some of the beams in our home commemorating both our heritage...more to come
